The J-class has to be one of the most talked about classic yacht classes ever! Not only a class to race in the Americas cup, but also a class sailed by the whealtiest and most famous of people. Kings and billionairs have sailed J-Class yachts and still do.
The very few reamining J-class Yachts and the even fewer new built yachts are surrounded my attention where ever they go. The lucky few sailors who have experianced sailing onboard a J-Class yacht says it is like nothing else on the water. They are big, fast and beautiful.
Today the J-class yachts are mostly used for racing in larger regattas and some of them are financed by chartering on events.
Each one of the older J-class yachts that still excist have all had major renovation and rebuilds done to them and there for they are all in prestine condition today.
Here we have gathered some info on the J-class yachts, both old once that no longer excist and on the once that still sail out waters today.
